Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolf, Mountain Lion, Wolverine. Each of these five animals represents a pinnacle of evolution and each serves a vital role in the health of our forests. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is the last ecosystem in the Lower 48 that still has every species from before white settlement. That means it is one of the very last places left in North America where these five still share the same woods, and that makes it incredibly special.
